| Description: | Previews, prints and manages PostScript, TrueType, OpenType and raster fonts. Detects and solves problems with fonts and font substitutions. Includes two free fonts. Advises the solution for every problem (facename, filename and font script conflicts, bad file, bad font substitution etc.). Features: Installed Windows Fonts - unload, uninstall, filter by script (Symbol, Western etc.); Files on Disk - cut, copy, paste, install fonts, filter fonts; Find Fonts - search for fonts; Font Groups - organize your fonts (install group, ununstall group, Add Fonts wizard, etc.); Font Properties - versions, metrics, TrueType tables, Panose info etc.; Character Table - compare fonts mode, zoom options, colors, font size, choose Unicode range etc.; Text Sample - set of predefined text samples, loading from text file, colors); Print preview and printing - choose 5 types of reports; Shell Extensions - adds Open, Print and Install by FontExpert commands to Explorer's context menu for .ttf files, and adds property page with detailed font attributes for .ttf files. Requirements: Windows 95/98/ME/NT4/2000/XP. To work with Adobe Type 1 (PostScript) fonts: Adobe Type Manager is required in Windows 95, 98 and ME. (Not required in Windows 2000 and Windows XP.) |
